Armco concerns start even before the products are transformed: by accurately selecting the raw material, meeting each customer’s needs, complying with quality system requirements (ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001), performing accurate chemical, metallographic and mechanical tests and preventive maintenance of equipment, and hiring talents.
Its staff participates continuously in courses and training in Brazil and abroad. Its laboratories are among the most advanced laboratories in the industry. In its search for excellence, Armco has implemented the Productive Excellence Management System (GEP) based on total productive maintenance concepts and oriented to zero breakdown and failure. Lean manufacture concepts were adopted by the production management to obtain the best results in productivity and waste reduction.
